Always In My Heart

My father passed away today. His heart and soul outweighed his flaws, by the highest measure. I have so many amazing memories of him. Though we were estranged for twenty two years, I held no negativity in my heart for him and I never will. I will always have beautiful memories of the years we did have together. Four of which were in Germany and a consistent adventure. He was born in Trinidad and of Indian decent. He held the highest value of education and intellect of anyone I had ever met. He wrote beautifully. He believed in tolerance and love of other people, with his whole heart.

Maiṁ tumasē pyāra karatā hūm̐, bapuji.

BTW, the only tea he drank was Earl Grey with condensed milk. All through my childhood, he drank this more than anything else I can remember. I’m sure that has something to do with my love of tea.
