The dry leaves have a fresh and clean grass smell, which is light and very fragrant. The leaves are whole, stretched long, beautifully colored, and flat.
When wet, the leaves smell spinachy and slightly seaweedish. They are very strong and would most likely stand another infusion, maybe two. The colors are beautiful light variations of spinach and olive greens.
The liquor has a spinachy taste, is a tad astringent, and has a slight aftertaste. There is a pastel yellow color to this beautiful liquor.
Overall, i wasn’t a fan of this tea. I can see how some might love it, but I probably won’t drin kor buy it. But, if you LOVE green yea, give it a try. I think it’s a love or hate tea.
