Pure Bud Bi Luo Chun Yunnan Black Tea Spring 2015, Yunnan Sourcing

The dry leaves have a chocolatey smell that is undeniable! They are yellow and black in color and the same size throughout.

The wet leaves have a bean sprout smell that is somewhat nutty. For some reason, it makes me think of french fries. They are a chocolate brown in color and could last another couple of infusions.

The liquor has a nutty air and is a dark caramel brown color and sprouty taste. It is a tad astringinent, tight and dry.

Overall, it is OK. I woouldn’t buy, drink or recommend. However, I might try it another time. Perhaps I steeped it wrong or didn’t give it the attention I should have.
