The dry leaves are a bird’s nest with black and tan highlights. I can see the leaves well. Acouple small pieces fell off here and there when unwrapped, but not much.
The wet leaves smell like wet mahogany. They are blackish brown in color and the leaves are very tiny. It would last at least another couple of infusions.
The liquor has a mahogany smell and the same in color. It has a woody, almost chocolatey taste. It is not astringent and only a tad dry. There is a small and quick aftertaste of brassiness.
Overall, not bad. I would drink it, but I wouldn’t buy or recommend.
