The dry leaves are black and have a forest floor smell that is not quite earthy or leafy. They are a good size and there are some dark brown highlights here and there.
The wet leaves have a smoky, woody smell. They are very dark brown and about 1/2-2 inches in length. They would last another three infusions, at least!
The liquor is a caramel color and has a slight cracker smell. The taste is also that of a saltine cracker, no salt, but very gentle. The body is light to medium.
Overall, Great! I would recommend a little more than a teaspoon when steeping. As it sat with one portion, it was nothing exciting. But, I would buy, recommend and drink this again. Definitely!
This is where you can find it!
