Well, I had seen this floating around and decided to try it. However, I’m not good with recipes and didn’t write down measurements of what I used. It was kind of an experiment.
I took cinnamon and nutmeg and put it in a jar with chia seeds. I kind of eyeballed the ingredients to a ratio that I thought would fit my taste. I put on the lid and shook it all up together, so it would mix. Then, I opened it and filled it up with almond milk. I left it in the fridge overnight, having stirred it a little just before I went to bed. I wanted to make sure there weren’t any chunks or dry spots. In the morning, it was ready.
I have to say that it came out much better than I thought it would. But, I think that next time I might add a little sugar or honey. If you want to try this, here are some recipes:
