Bohea Tea, The Spice and Tea Exchange

This tea has a cinnamon, citrusy smell with licorice notes. You can’t really smell the tea, itself.

The smell of the wet leaves is a licorice smell with smoky notes and it makes me think of autumn. They are a light chocolate color and about a quarter to one inch in length.

The liquor is a glowing ruby color. It’s beautiful! It has a light licorice smell with cinnamon undertones. The taste reflects that, too. I don’t care for licorice, one way or another. However, I could taste those notes. It also has a smoky finish, thanks to the Lapsang Souchong.

This is a good tea, but I didn’t really care for it. I would drink it if it were served me, but I wouldn’t purchase it. And I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to anyone, not if their taste is similar to mine. But, if it isn’t, it’s worth a try!
