I’ve made no secret of my love for Quinoa. I would have to say that the Tri-color is my favorite, since it has quite a few textures mixed together. It is about thirty cents cheaper than it’s counterparts, too!
If you are worried about it taking too long to make, know that you can microwave it. If you put it in a microwaveable bowl for twenty minutes, you can let it set for about ten or fifteen minutes and it should be good. You just want to make sure that you put enough water in. For every onoe part quinoa, there should be two parts water. It would be the same if you are using broth, but a little more if you’re adding anything else to it.
