I have always loved plantains. Whether they are chips or fried chunks, I’ll eat them and in large amounts. I guess I should say larger than usual. Sometimes I think it’s because they evoke a sense of nostalgia. But, I’m pretty sure it’s just because they’re delicious and I’m a little piggy.
These chips didn’t disappoint. They tasted great and weren’t overwhelmingly sweet! The best part is how natural they are. I love the rich and natural flavor of plantains and these are a great example of how they can be a dessert-like snack, but without sugar. They should be fine for anyone with IBS, regardless of restrictions. And they are Vegatarian friendly. They will be Vegan friendly, depending on your view of Palm Olein.
